A Celebration of the Artist and His Work

Maurice Sendak is famous as the creator of many well loved children's books, including  In the Night Kitchen and Where the Wild Things Are. His work, however, also encompassed many other genres such as his designs for the stage, advertising campaigns, magazines and posters.
Maurice Sendak: A Celebration of the Artist and his Work is a catalogue of an exhibition held in New York City in 2013, offering a more in-depth appreciation of Sendak's skills, influences and interests throughout his 60 years of creativity.
