Buzzfeed Books recently posted an article called "16 Books to Read Before They Hit Theatres This Year" and I was suprised to see how many great books are being turned into movies in 2014! Here are some of the movies I am most looking forward to:

  • The Fault in Our Stars - John Green
Coming in June, this film stars Shailene Woodley as Hazel and Ansel Elgort as Gus. Sure to be a tearjerker!
  • The Giver - Lois Lowry
This book was written in 1993 and it's the book that sparked my love for dystopian fiction. Look for the film in August!
  • Gone Girl - Gillian Flynn
Gone Girl was one of the most talked about books in 2012 and the film is bound to be buzz-worthy as well! Coming to screens in October.
  • This is Where I Leave You - Jonathon Tropper
This 2010 novel focuses on family, marriage, and the ties that bind us together - whether we like it or not! Check it out in September.
  • Wild - Cheryl Strayed
Strayed's 2012 memoir about her 1,100 mile solo hike is sure to make a fascinating film! Starring Reese Witherspoon.
