It Get's Better

Yes, it is tough being a teen. 

It is even tougher when you are struggling with issues of sexuality, coming out, bullying and who you can trust. 

Editors Dan Savage and Terry Millers have put together a book titled It gets better : coming out, overcoming bullying, and creating a life worth living.  

The stories, essays and testimonials are written to teens from celebrities, political leaders, and everyday people. 

Sadly, many teens can't see a positive future for themselves, but the contributors to this work can. 

They will show LGBT youth the kind of happiness, potential, and satisfaction their lives hold if they can just get through these early years. Another inspirational resource is Kathy Belge and Marke Bieschke's Queer: the ultimate LGBT guide for teens.
