Great news for writers in London!  The Library has partnered with Western University's Writer-in-Residence program to bring Gary Barwin to our community for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Please come and meet Gary at his reading and reception on Thursday, Sept. 25th at 7pm at the Central Library. 

Enjoy a dynamic reading of poetry and fiction with music composed by Gary. 

All are welcome to stay for the reception following the reading!

Gary will be holding office hours for writers of all levels at both Western University and the London Public Library.  For more information, or to schedule an appointment, click here.

Gary will be facilitating various FREE writing workshops throughout the year.

Gary Barwin is a writer, composer, multimedia artist, and educator and the author of seventeen books of poetry and fiction as well as books for both teens and children.  His work has been widely performed, broadcast, anthologized and published nationally and internationally.  His latest book is Moon Baboon Canoe (poetry, Mansfield Press, 2014) and he has just completed a novel, Yiddish for Pirates (Random House, 2016).
