Taiwanese-American Cathy Erway, author of The Art of Eating In, has created a great cook book of Taiwanese cooking with almost 100 recipes for both home-style dishes and street food.  Her new book The food of Taiwan: Recipes from the beautiful island is as enticing to look at with shots of Taiwan's coasts and busy streets as it is to create and savour the both simple and also exotic, but accessible, recipes.

This is a great recipe book for seasoned Taiwanese cooks and an excellent introduction to those who are new to the cuisine.
