A wedding for Christmas

book cover image: A wedding for Christmas

One of the best things about the multiple genre and literature formats available in today's literature is that there is something for everyone and something for every season and passing whim.  Today I was feeling the need to grab a nice easy book with a simple plot.  Something with a bit of suspense, but not too much, and with a rural or small town setting during the Christmas seaon.  Something a bit nostalgic.  A put your feet up, drink cider and eat cookies while curled up on the couch (or in bed) with a nice, relaxing but interesting read.

Lori Wilde's new book A wedding for Christmas was a perfect match to my story criteria.  The setting is ideal.  A smal town. A Cookie Club with people making cookies for the holidays. Glittering lights and carollers.  Perfect.  And, enough intrigue to keep you reading.  A handsome protagonist (a body guard even). A beautiful woman.  A romantic interlude - or is it more than that? A Christmas wedding that culminates in bringing the two together to bring it all to a close - one way or the other.

If you are looking for something to read over the holidays you can search the London Public Library catalogue which has a wide variety of literature available to meet your reading needs including multiple formats such as audio books and e-books.  Better still come on in and browse.  Staff will be happy to help you find the kind of story you are looking for.
