Love Me Tender

Sixty years ago on January 1st, 1957, Elvis Presley's first film, Love Me Tender, opened at the Capitol Theatre, 204 Dundas Street, London, Ontario. The Capitol was original Allen's Theatre which opened on February 23rd, 1920.  Renamed in 1924, the Capitol continued to operate until it closed in 2002.
