Real People in Fiction

Calling all non-fiction readers out there! Did you know that there are novels written about real people? I am a fiction reader myself but I love coming across fictionalized stories about real people. Most authors who write these tales do hours of research on their real protagonist. Neat huh? Here is a list of books you may want to try:

Summer Job Fair

It’s never too early to start looking for a summer job.  The City of London is hosting its Summer Job Fair on Saturday, January 30, 2010, 12 – 3 pm at the Carling Heights Optimist Community Centre (656 Elizabeth Street).

 Summer 2010 job opportunities are available in London’s neighbourhood playgrounds, aquatic services, Storybook Gardens and day camps.   Positions are open to first-time job seekers, university and college students, recent grads and others interested in seasonal employment with the City of London.
