Pleasure Craft Operator Card
17 September 2009 - 7:41pmAhoy!!! As of September 15, 2009, Canadian boaters driving a motorized watercraft must carry a Transport Canada-mandated Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC). In order to obtain your PCOC you need to score 75% or higher on the Transport Canada accredited exam which covers navigation rules, boating terminology, emergency markers, bouys and safety equipment and right of way regulations.
