Arthur Erickson 1924-2009

On May 20, 2009 the internationally known Canadian architect Arthur Erickson passed away.

Erickson was known for his dramatic and distinctive designs, including the campus of Simon Fraser University in B.C., Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, the Canadian Chancery  in Washington, D.C. and countless other works.

Herbert J. Ariss 1916-2009

On Friday February 27, 2009, Herbert Joshua Ariss passed away in his 93rd year at his residence in London, Ontario.
Herb Ariss was a key figure in developing and influencing London artists in the late 1950s and 60s when the London art scene was at its height.
