The winning poems in Poetry London’s 8th Annual Poetry Contest are now on display at London Public Library as part of National Poetry Month celebrations. This year’s contest was judged by Laurie Graham and focused on the theme ‘The Streets of London.’ Congratulations to all of the winners!
Poetry Contest!
5 January 2016 - 4:36pmLocal poets are invited to enter the 8th Annual Poetry Contest, sponsored by Poetry London and the London Public Library. The contest is open to both established and emerging poets, who will write poems on the theme ‘The Streets of London.’ Laurie Graham, who is a poet, teacher and assistant editor of Brick, A Literary Journal, will judge the contest.
Awards of $200 and $100 will be presented to the 1st and 2nd place poems.
