COVID-19 Service Updates

PRINTING YOUR PROOF OF VACCINATION AT THE LIBRARY

The Province has just launched enhanced vaccine certificates (with scannable QR codes). These are available to download from Ontario's COVID-19 vaccination portal. Paper copies are not required if you have saved this vaccine code or certificate to your phone. However, if you would like to print a copy, we are offering free printing of vaccine certificates at all library locations except Glanworth. Just drop in to any location and let our staff know that you'd like to print your vaccine certificate. Here's how it works:

  • Using a Library computer, visit Ontario's COVID-19 vaccination page
  • Read and agree to the Terms of use and complete the identity verification form
  • The certificate or code will download to a PDF which our staff will help you print for free.
  • A green, photo health card is required to download your proof of vaccination. If you have a red and white health card, call the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900.
  • Printing costs 10 cents per page for all other print requests.

PROOF OF VACCINATION NOT REQUIRED TO VISIT THE LIBRARY AT THIS TIME

As of September 22, the Province has not included Public libraries as one of the higher-risk indoor settings that requires patrons to be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination. Masks are required to be worn inside Library locations at all times and food or drink are not permitted. Please note that all current COVID-19 health and safety requirements will remain in place when visiting the Library, including mask wearing, distancing and capacity limits. Meeting and study rooms and inside programs are not available at this time.
