Forest of Reading - Forest of Reading
What is Forest of Reading?

The Forest of Reading is Canada’s largest recreational reading program with over 270,000 participants every year. It's goal: to develop a lifelong love of reading. It has programs for children and youth from Kindergarten to Gr. 12, and it connects them with stellar Canadian literature. It also gives them the opportunity to vote for their favourite book. The Forest of Reading offers reading programs in English and French.

Voting Requirements:

Children and youth will cast their vote for their favourite book from their reading program. We encourage children and youth to read as many of the books from their program as possible, but there is no set requirement to have read more than one book in order to vote.

When will voting take place?

Forest of Reading voting will take place at LPL during the week of Monday April 19th to Saturday April 24th. Children will be able to vote virtually through an online form below!

Winners will be announced at the Forest of Reading virtual festival from May 18-20, 2021
