This is a novel [1]I picked up because of its cover. Have you noticed lately how amazing novel covers are getting? Clearly, with all the e-communications out there, audio books, Kindles etc. publishers know that book covers are very important. They need to be eye-catching.
Anyhow, this story is a very intriguing one. It took me a bit to figure out who the voice of the story really was. Talk about head games! Try it out. Here is a blurb about it:
Witnessing the dissolution of his parents' marriage at the age of six, Luke Nightingale increasingly succumbs to a dangerously violent alter ego. This alter ego makes cynical and cruelly perceptive observations about his fragile mother, his suicide-victim grandmother, and other members of their privileged Central Park West family.
Enjoy!
