Are you one of those people who likes to look up answers to burning questions right now?
Well, I am. If I'm with a group of friends who are pondering where Burkina Faso is or what constitutes an Indigo Child I'm the one who grabs her iPhone to look it up. Often I use Google or Wikipedia, but sometimes I want more indepth or verified information. So, I was very pleased when Gale produced an app for the iPhone that lets me search all the Gale databases that the library subscribes to right from my phone. I don't even have to log in because the iPhone knows where I am and that Ontario residents have free access to these databases provided by Knowledge Ontario [1].
The free app is called AccessMyLibrary and you'll find it in the iTunes App store. Click for more information. [2]
