The Pledge to End Bullying: Books to share

London Public Library supports our community in taking in taking The Pledge. Bullying Awareness Prevention Week is November 17 - 24, 2013. The Pledge to End Bullying is an initiative of community partners including London's school boards and CTV, who aim to raise public consciouness about bullying -- in schools, at work and at home.  The library has a great collection of resources and wonderful picture books to help families address the issue of bullying with their children.  "Bullying is not inevitable.  It doesn't have to be a normal part of childhood.  The more we talk with each other, share our stories, and listen -- particularly to those whose voices aren't often heard -- the closer we move toward a just society." -- Deborah Ellis from We Want You To Know: Kids Talk About Bullying
