How often do you see poetry on a billboard?

The poetry billboard, with a poem by late local poet Colleen Thibaudeau, has been installed at the intersection of Wortley Rd., Stanley St. and York St. Join us at the site for a celebration on Saturday, April 14 at 3:00 pm.

The Poetry Billboard Project came about through a partnership between London Public Library, Poetry London and Brick Books with the idea of bringing poetry to the public in a very different way.

Poetry London is a reading series created by poet Cornelia Hoogland in partnership with Landon Branch Library. Since 2004 the series has hosted an average of six poetry readings per year featuring nationally recognized poets, new emerging poets and local poets.
