What are we up to during National Youth Week?

National Youth week logo

There are so many exciting events that will happen May 1st to 7th in London as we celebrate National Youth Week 2015.

The Kick Off Event will start on Friday May 1st with “Judge a Book by its Cover” Photo contest!   Enter our online photo contest to celebrate National Youth Week.  Let's judge a book by its cover! Create an alternate design for your favourite YA book using one of the creative apps on your phone or tablet and then submit it to our Teen Annex Facebook page as a private message.

On Saturday May 2nd, come down to the Central Library at 9am and participate in the Free Comic Book Day.  The Central Library is proud to be a part of London's Comic Shop Crossover and Free Comic Book Day. Pick up your free comic book at the Library anytime during library hours on May 2 and also visit the other participating comic shops in London to get a chance to win one of many prizes. You are also welcome to enter or watch our Comic Book Costume Contest at 2:30pm.

At 3pm join us at the Epic Youth Bash at outdoors in Market Square at the Covent Garden Market.  Come enjoy music, free food, and arts for the start of National Youth Week! Seeing the local talent pool in London will be impressive, and if you have not pulled out the barbecue yet this season, here's a great opportunity to get your first taste.
