Details:  #LibraryGivingDay is an online fundraising and awareness event, led by Seattle Public Library, which encourages library supporters in Canada and the United States to help strengthen their community by giving to their library. Here at London Public Library, many of our much-needed and well-used resources and programs are made possible thanks to the support of Library donors. For example, our current Environmentalist in Residence initiative is generously supported by the Hueston Family Foundation, a family that cares deeply about environmental issues, and our recent One Book One London program was funded by a donor who believed in the power of books to bring a community together. No gift is too small to help your library make an impact in someone's life. We are so very grateful for your support.

The details: All those making a donation of any amount to London Public Library using this online form on, or before, April 10 will be entered to win a copy of The Library Book, by Susan Orlean. A winner will also be chosen from those who share their public library story or memory on London Public Library’s Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram posts Winners will be chosen at random on April 11 and will be notified directly. Click here to donate.
