City of London Watermain Issues in Wortley Village:

City work crews will turn off the water supply to residents and businesses in Wortley Village from Byron Road to Briscoe Street starting today at 2 p.m.

The shut off is necessary to help with repairs to a watermain which burst early this morning, forcing closure of Wortley Road from Bruce to Askin Streets. That closure to traffic remains in place.

Water supplies will be resumed immediately after the watermain repair is complete.

Residents can call City of London at 519.661.4739 for more information.
